Our water is sourced from the beautiful Peckforton Hills
Deep within this sandstone ridge which rises 203m above the Cheshire plains, nature is working its patient and remarkable magic; the natural filtration of sandstone is creating a spring water of superior quality with a fresh exhilarating taste.
The nearby village of Tattenhall is home to the spring which has provided this pure, clear and refreshing water for over 75 years. The original borehole for the water was sunk in 1938 and over the years provided millions of litres of fresh water for Cheshire’s thirsty folk.
A new borehole was created in 1993 to meet the highest modern standards of production, so today Peckforton Hills customers can continue to drink this delicious water with confidence.
Peckforton Hills spring water is targeted to be sold in Cheshire and nearby counties. In order to reduce the environmental impact of our water, distribution is deliberately restricted to local areas.
The less distance involved in transporting a product (food miles) means fewer CO2 emissions, leading to less greenhouse gas and a reduced global warming effect.
For a healthy refreshing drink that doesn’t cost the earth, Peckforton Hills spring water is the perfect answer.
